Book Review – The Impossible Fortress

The Impossible FortressThe Impossible Fortress by Jason Rekulak

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I have been on a run of incredible books lately and The Impossible Fortress is the latest in that streak.

I thought this story was exactly as advertised—quirky, funny, and highly engaging. Jason Rekulak captured the irreverence of the late 80s perfectly and his heist premise was most of all, fun to read. A very quick read for me; I devoured this story in a matter of days. I didn’t want to put it down!!

This is perfect for fans of coming of age stories or anything to do with that now long ago decade of the 1980s. If you remember spending hours playing games on a Commodore 64 then you will love this nostalgic trip down memory lane.

5 stars and highly recommended reading.
